What To Do With SA Rugby?

It is not often the Springboks are kept scoreless at Newlands, so it was understandable that many South African fans voted with their feet and started streaming for the exits long before the end of this 19-0 defeat to the All Blacks.

The result leaves the Boks with just one win in four starts in the Tri-Nations, and at this stage they look more likely to grab the wooden spoon than win the competition. Among the questions that should be asked of the Bok management is the decision to replace Schalk Burger with Luke Watson with 20 minutes to go.

Burger had a bad day at the breakdowns, but he was one of the few Boks who had the necessary physical presence on a day when Bakkies Botha was sorely missed. Bryan Habana was injured in the second half and the management will be holding thumbs that it is not serious.

Guess How Much I Love You!

Little  Nutbrown hare, who was going to bed, held on tight to Big Nutbrown Hare's very long ears.

He wanted to be sure that Big Nutbrown Hare was listening. "Guess how much I Love You," he said.

"Oh, I don't think I could guess that," said Big Nutbrown Hare.

"This much," said Little Nutbrown Hair, stretching out his arm as wide as they could.

Big Nutbrown Hare had even longer arms. "But I Love YOU this much," he said.

Hmm, that is a lot, thought Little Nutbrown Hare.

"I love you as high as I can reach," said Little Nutbrown Hare.

"I love you as high as I can reach," said Big Nutbrown Hare.

That is quite high though Little Nutbrown Hare. I wish I had arms like that.

Then Little Nutbrown Hare had a good idea. He tumbled upside down and reach up the tree trunk with his feet. "I love you all the way up to my toes!" he said.

"And I love you all the way up to your toes," said Big Nutbrown Hare, swinging him up over his head.

"I love you as high as I can HOP!" laughed Little Nutbrown Hare, bouncing up and down.

"But I love you as highs as I can hop," smiled Big Nutbrown Hare - and he hopped so high that his ears touched the branches above.

That's good hopping, thought Little Nutbrown Hare. I wish I could hop like that.

"I love you all the way down the lane as far as the river," cried Little Nutbrown Hare.

"I love you across the river and over the hills," said Big Nutbrown Hare.

That's very far, thought Little Nutbrown Hare. He was almost to sleepy to think any more. Then he looked beyond the thorn bushes, out into the big dark night. Nothing could be further that the sky.

"I love you right up to the MOON," he said, and closed his eyes.

"Oh, that's far," said Big Nutbrown Hare. "That is very, very far."

Big Nutbrown Hare settled Little Nutbrown Hare into his bed of leaves. He leaned over and kiss him good night.

Then he lay down close by and whispered with a smile, "I love you right up to the moon - AND BACK."

Miss Me -- But Let Me Go

This is dedicated to all the loved ones that's not with us any more,
we still miss you and love you stax, wish you were here!

Trudie Clark, Effie Simons, Zukini, Dwayne Keet

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little--but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me--but let me go.

For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss Me--But Let me Go!

Loosing A Loved One

It's never easy loosing a loved one, especially if it's your child! But know that God knows how you feel and only He can give you the strength to come through these dark times!

Let go and let God!

God Knows

You have my deepest sympathy,
but it really doesn't help.
Your grief goes beyond
what words can express.

There's nothing anyone can say,
and nothing we can do
to heal your broken heart
or take away your pain.

Let God take you in His arms
and cover you with His love.
He knows the depth of your grief
and only He can give you peace.
He knows it will take time
for your heart to heal, and
your loved one has a place
that no one else can fill.

If there's any comfort let it be in this,
your loved one is with Jesus,
in a home that's filled with bliss.
There are no tears in Heaven,
no more heartache and no pain,
only love and happiness
for all eternity.

We must go on living and
do the best we can,
then when Jesus calls our name

we will be with them again.

Brain Teaser...

Once upon a time, in the West Lake village, a servant lived with his master.

After service of about 30 years, his master became ill and was going to die.

One day, the master called his servant and asked him for a wish.

It could be any wish but just one.

The master gave him one day to think about it.

The servant became very happy and went to his mother for discussion about the wish.

His mother was blind and she asked her son for making a wish for her eye-sight to come back. Then the servant went to his wife.

She became very excited and asked for a son as they were childless for many years.

After that, the servant went to his father who wanted to be rich and so he asked his son to wish for a lot of money.

The next day he went to his master and made one wish through which all the three (mother, father, wife) got what they wanted.

You have to tell what the servant asked the master.

The servant said, "My mother wants to see her grandson swinging on a swing of gold."

Boss And Employees

Boss to four of his employees: I'm really sorry but I'm going to have let one of you go.

Black employee: I'm a protected minority

Female employee: And I am a woman

Oldest employee: Fire me,buster, and I'll hit you with an age discrimination suit so fast it'll make your head spin

To which they all turn to look at the helpless young, white, male employee, who thinks a moment, then responds: I think I might be gay...

You Are My Destiny

When you first came into my life,
you were exciting and new to me,
and I wanted so much to be with you
every minute I could...

You were almost to good to be true,
like a dream found deep inside my heart.
Suddenly, you were
a very important part of my future,
and I wanted you there.

Now you are a part of my soul.
I love you deeply, and I can't remember
ever feeling any other way.
I know you are my destiny.
You are what was meant to be,
and you make me so happy.

You are my true love,
and I thank my lucky stars above
for bringing you to me.
I am glad you came into my life.
and I'm so very, very glad
you stayed.

Girl Power

Love Yourself...........

"It's surprising how many persons go
through life without ever recognizing that
their feelings toward other people are
largely determined by their feelings toward
themselves, and if you're not comfortable
within yourself, you can't be comfortable
with others."
                                            -- Sydney J. Harris

"We have the need to be accepted and to be
loved by others, but we cannot accept and
love ourselves. The more self-love we have,
the less we will experience self-abuse. Self-
abuse comes from self-rejection, and self-
rejection comes from having an image of
what it means to be perfect and never
measuring up to that ideal. Our image of
perfection is the reason we reject ourselves
the way we are, and why we don't accept
others the way they are."
                                            -- Don Miguel Ruiz

"There is no freedom like seeing myself as I
am and not losing heart."
                                                 -- Elizabeth J. Canham

"If we could learn to like ourselves, even a
little, maybe our cruelties and angers might
melt away."
                                       -- John Steinbeck

Western Province Fed To The Sharks!

The Sharks scored an emphatic 32-10 Absa Currie Cup victory over Western Province in Cape Town last night to add further to the Cape side’s woes and their own aspirations.

The Sharks were quite superb at feeding of Provinces’ mistakes and four tries to one is indicative of the Durban-based side’s dominance at contact and turn-over time.

Although we were freezing our %$$@ off, it was fantastic! Thanks to the Bonthuiz family for inviting us, even though I was supporting the Sharks!
