Also Du Toit swam a Paralympic record 4:24.75 in her heat of the 400m freestyle S9, leaving her nearest opponent more than 20 seconds in her wake as she qualified for the final later in the day.
For the moment South Africa is in 9th place with an overall of 15 medals of which there's, 10 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronge.
